Week 9 -- 1st Area -- 1st Companion -- Hesperia, CA

August 4, 2014 -- 2:25pm

So this week wasn't the best week.  We had the hardest time getting in with people.  They either cancelled or they weren't home when we tried dropping by.  We were able to get in with Brian, who we've been teaching for about two weeks now.  He's doing amazing.  He's been reading and praying about the Book of Mormon and he has a real desire to find out if it is true.  Richard's daughter was born.  They named here Jasmine.  Richard called us and asked if he and his wife could get a blessing.  The hospital had to send their daughter to another one because she was having a hard time keeping her blood sugar up, so they had to put her on a machine that would help her with that.  Their daughter is at home and is doing great.  It finally rained here.  It rained two days in a row and it felt great outside.  For like the first time it wasn't in the high 90s or 100s.  It was great.  Miss all of you guys.  Thanks for all of the prayers.
