Well, this last week was a week of learning. I learned a lot about what I need to be doing a better job at. It was pretty overwhelming at first, but, it got better by the end of the week.
Mission Leadership Council (MLC) was really good. This month, as a mission, we are focussing on Chapter 9 of Preach My Gospel. (here is a link if you'd like to read what we're focussing on: https://www.lds.org/manual/preach-my-gospel-a-guide-to-missionary-service/how-do-i-find-people-to-teach?lang=eng)
We learned a lot about talking with everyone and how we can be most effective in doing that. President Hobbs taught us a ton and it was all very beneficial. It was a little bit stressful, but, overall it was good.
This last week, for us, consisted of a lot of finding and not a lot of success. But, I realized that through my efforts I could do a better job and that the Lord will bless me for what I've done.
Cool experience from last week is the Sisters (our ward mates) found 6 people that are all YSA (Young Single Adults) age and they are giving them to us. We are super excited because that is going to help out our YSA Ward a ton. We have about 10-15 active members attending our Ward. It's super tiny, but, all of the active members are awesome. One of them actually served her mission in the Atlanta Georgia Mission. So, she was super excited to hear that I'm from Atlanta.
Things are going great for me right now. It's super hard having to take the lead, but, the Lord is helping me out with it.
Thank you all so much for all that you do! I love you a ton.
