Week 64 -- 4th Area -- 6th Companion -- Chino, CA

August 24, 2015

Well, this last week was full of trial after trial.  We started off with a super crazy P-Day that led to us not being able to relax.  Then, that led to a crazy Tuesday in which we weren't able to do very much proselyting, which is how pretty much everyday last week was.  One thing after another kept coming up and getting in our way.  Then, to add to it, our lesson with this group of Y.S.A. (Young Single Adult) age investigators went really bad.  We were unable to teach them.  All they did  was bash and ask us questions we didn't have the answer to at the time.  Then, our weekly planning session went 6 hrs. on Friday and it went that way because we wanted to make it super effective and as a result it took forever so we're in the process of figuring out how to make it effective and a good length.

But, luckily our week was saved by a really good lesson with an investigator in the family Ward we are also serving in (Rolling Ridge Ward).  It was also saved by two super awesome Sacrament mtgs. that we got to go to.  Church always makes your week better. We are doing a lot better now.

One of the highlights of the week was when a member took us out to eat at an all you can eat Korean BBQ place and it was super good.  All of the meat that we ate we had to cook on the stove that was on our table.  The best part of being there was we got to eat Cow Tongue and Squid.  They both didn't taste that bad.  But, other than that the week was rather tough.

Thanks for all that you do.
