Week 88 -- 6th Area -- 10th Companion -- Barstow, CA

February 22, 2016

I'm no longer in Spring Valley Lakes! It's a bit sad not being there anymore. I'm now up in Barstow.

Holy Cow we are way far away from people! We are extremely far away from everyone in our Zone and apparently we don't go down at all. The only time we go down is for Zone Meetings. It's crazy how far away we are.

The work up here, though, is on fire! We have a ton of investigators and there's a ton of people that we are working with starting to teach. It's super awesome. We have Wardmates and they are super awesome! One of them is my MTC companion Elder Plymell. It's great to finally be able to serve around him.

My new companion is Elder Coombs.  For the brief time that I've been with him he seems to be a really good missionary and a good guy. I'll have more to tell you next week about him.

My last week in Spring Valley Lakes was super good!  We found a new investigator and she seems to be super solid! She told us before we even started teaching her that she wants to be baptized. I'm sad that I had to leave, but, I'm grateful that I'm leaving the area the way that it is. I'm extremely grateful that Heavenly Father placed me in Spring Valley Lakes, serving in Spring Valley Lakes has changed my mission.

I'm doing great, and I love all of you so much!
